Stansted Mid Stay Arrival Procedures

Stansted Mid Stay has a number plate recognition system so be sure to enter your vehicle registration correctly when prompted during the booking process. Bring your booking confirmation along with you when you arrive at the car park. As you approach the entry barrier the machine will read your registration plate which will take about 15 seconds. A ticket will be printed out which shows your booking reference number and the barrier will raise up allowing you to enter. Park your car in an appropriate space then take the transfer bus to the airport. If the barrier fails to issue you with a ticket within 15 seconds please press the button on the machine for a ticket.

Stansted Mid Stay transfers

Transfer buses run 24 hours a day every 10 minutes and take approximately 5 minutes to complete the journey.

Stansted Mid Stay Return Procedures

If your ticket has your booking reference printed above the barcode simply drive to the exit barrier and insert your ticket into the machine. If your ticket does not have your booking reference printed above the barcode you will need to show your ticket to a parking attendant or press the help button on the exit barrier to get assistance in your exit.
